Designed for those new to the world of attendance, participants will go through a daily attendance routine together. From the setup and parameters, to the first steps of Initializing Attendance and analyzing reports, participants will gain a better understanding of the procedural philosophy behind Maplewood Secondary Attendance as well as its capabilities. Specific topics include: Attendance Codes, Excursion Lists, School Calendar, Excused Before Homeroom, Class Attendance, Sign In/Out, the Register, Report of Classes Missed, Individual Attendance Registers, Exporting to Telephone Diallers and attendance reports.

Advanced Secondary Attendance - MWSAAA

Level: Intermediate/Advanced

Bring your attendance questions and skills to this workshop. Designed for experienced attendance personnel, participants will gain a better understanding of the Maplewood Attendance module. An in-depth analysis of the Temporary and Permanent registers along with the functional relationships to other applications within Maplewood will be discussed along with the sharing of best practices. Specific topics include: Attendance Codes, School Calendar, Excused Before Homeroom, Class Attendance, Sign In/Out, Display/Modify Register, Report of Classes Missed, Individual Registers, pre-defined attendance reports, Inquiry and Report Builder.

Designed specifically for schools using their Classroom Manager for recording attendance, participants will go through a daily attendance routine together. The session is split in two, with the first focus group designed for the Office staff and the second designed for Teachers. All participants will gain a better understanding of the procedural philosophy behind Maplewood Secondary Attendance as well as its capabilities. The Office Seminar will focus on: Attendance Codes, Excursion Lists, School Calendar, Excused Before Homeroom, Sign In/Out, the Register, Report of Classes Missed, Individual Attendance Registers, Exporting to Telephone Diallers and attendance reports. The Teachers’ Seminar will focus on recording class attendance through the Classroom Manager Attendance module as well as analyzing past attendance.
